I have visited several times in Arsalan Park Circus Kolkata. According to me in Kolkata, there is no restaurant which makes better Mughlai food then Arsalan Park Circus Kolkata. If you are looking for a real taste of Biriyani with the addition of neat & clean surrounding, courteous staff and worth the money & time you must visit there.

Food is good, but the ambiance of the hotel doesn’t match the quality of food been served, also the place is not been large which is a positive point to maintain the quality.

Though my personal favorite Biriyani is from Dada Baudi, Barrackpore which is not in Kolkata. This is place is well enlightened at one of the prior locations of the town, the 7-point crossing.
To start treating yourself, one can try the dishes from tandoori, Chicken tandoori, Spicy, Soft and tasty. Then come the Biriyani, Chicken Biriyani Special, which is my favorite. Awesomely flavored, the rice & chicken are so tastily prepared, which will certainly bring you here every time. It is the hottest selling item in Arsalan Park Circus Kolkata.
Arsalan Park Circus Kolkata is always crowded. Their service is fast. And every time their dishes taste the same good. They also have taken away and home delivery, so it is a good option for the party and get together. The menu card is long. My advice to friends is that do not waste time & energy & imagination – just order Arsalan special Biriyani with Mutton kasha or Chap or Korma as side dishes.
You get a piece of half a potato & a boiled egg as a part of The Biriyani. The rice grain of the Biriyani melt in the mouth, burst with flavors of the spices & the meat & most importantly the rice grain does not stick to each other. The meat flavors are unique due to the spices used & slow cooking made the meat to an extent that it melts in the mouth. The potato is cooked with the Biriyani – so the flavors enter it & the egg is unnecessary but interesting & nice.

When Wazid Ali Shah, the Nawab of Lucknow was deported by the British to Kolkata, he got with an associate of cooks, nautch girls, poets & many more people & things that appealed to his taste. What has predominantly remained intact is the cuisine that those cooks introduced to this part of the country with some modifications.
Regarding the meat dishes, all of them are unique, sip water/cola between the two dishes you will distinctly understand the differences. The meats are cooked in the gravy & hence are full of flavors. They are surely oily & not for the faint-hearted.
The stew was the best of the lot with also the maximum oil & the best of the spices. In Arsalan Park Circus Kolkata the korma was also very good & comparatively lighter & was served with a large piece of potato & a full boiled egg ( with the curry ).
